I'm doing this too! I'm only at day 7 though. I hope I can keep it up. [dailytreats.wordpress.com] Sofie Verhulst ]]>
Has anyone gotten the 365 project script to work? I am having problems getting it to work. markstamp ]]>
I'm doing this at the moment! And its such a good idea, my friends have all gotten onboard too! :) [owenw.aminus3.com] owenw ]]>
My girlfriend had the idea of taking a picture every week of the tree outside our living room window. We started about three months ago, and it's been really cool to see the progression from a bare dead-looking tree to one that's full of life again. When it's come full circle, I'll put it up on my Picasa. Hockeycop ]]>
Hey there, this is Michael from germanys DailyFratze.de project. I've created i little multiuser site, with a nice set of features (all pics on this day, friends on this day and so on.) I myself did this for 501 days without missing on: DailyFratze.de/michael Leave a message if you like... cheers ;) rotnroll666 ]]>

A photo a day could become a storage nightmare, IMO. Backups, paper prints, etc. One photo of each family member per week seems sufficient enough. Maybe 2 a week. katana ]]>
I've been taking a picture a day to inform my family and friends on what is going on in my life. I don't think it is hard finding things to take pictures of, you just have to keep yourself busy and always think creatively. www.ericphiliplink.com ericphiliplink ]]>
There was one where this guy took a picture of his pregnant wife each day of her pregnancy and made a time elapse picture of it. It was really quite amazing. I think I'll try doing this. I even have a handy starting date coming up -- my birthday... BEG ]]>
Another such project done in Seattle in 2002, http://www.365project.com . Neato. No, I didn't take them and I'm not in any of the shots, but yes I know the person. sudhama ]]>
I've been thinking about doing this for a couple years now. My kids are five and seven and I thought I'd take one picture of each of them every day for a year or, well, as long as I could stand it. This post might just have motivated me to start! angelfish ]]>
There is actually a whole group of us crazy Daily Photo Bloggers of various locations and cities around the world. The guy who started it, Eric Tenin, runs Paris Daily Photo, which passed the one year mark back in March (I think) and my own did in Septrember. There are almost 150 blogs in the group, group activities, such as a monthly theme day, forums and more. Places don't have to be exotic: they are all recording social history. And, strangely enough, rather than it being difficult to commit to that daily post, once you get into it, the problem is LIMITING yourself to one photo a day! :) tucats ]]>
I took a picture a day from 1/16/05 - 1/16/06. Didn't quite think of it in time to make it a calendar year, unfortunately. The results are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hiddenpeanuts/sets/195162/ Some days it was really hard to find something interesting to snap. Thus, lots of pictures of my meals crept in towards the end of the year... but it did make me think about photography a lot more, and maybe my skills improved a bit. I'm thinking of doing it again for '07. Thunderclap8 ]]>

Like the idea. Gives me a reason to carry the camera around I suppose, and could be motivating as well as pretty cool. Might just give it a shot. (ha, I kill myself j/k). scingram ]]>
Or, alternately, take a picture every six minutes for 24 hours. http://www.sixminuteproject.com/ Not much change occurs, but you see interesting themes, like buying a ticket earlier to a show that appears later, and trends across these different 20-somethings' lives. Could definitely use more submissions, and it's a more specific community-oriented way to share than flickr, although there are rather strict formatting guidelines. Full disclosure: A friend of mine created this website. therobloe ]]>
In the film "Smoke", Harvey Keitel plays an owner of a smoke shop who takes a picture of the same spot every single day: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114478/ [I hope the following is not a spoiler; but, if you do not want any details at all, do not read on.] It is very touching the way Keitel's character explains why he does so, whether you believe his story is true or not. Inspiring. natalia ]]>
i'd love to see the video of that dude. wow. i think i'll give this photo a day for a year a shot. little projects like this seem to give me motivation, even if i'm motivationless. melissa dominic ]]>
i've been doing this since may. at first it was really fun but then it got hard... sadly there are many days in which i wake up, go to work, come home and sit on the couch. (there are only so many pictures of my tv that i can take!) i stuck with it though and its definitely worth it. some days its gotten me off said couch to take a picture and it's really amazing to look back and see a visual representation of my year so far. one random photo can remind me of the whole day. i highly recommend it. if anyone's interested you can check mine out at stevenpan.net s.p. ]]>
8 years.. quite possibly. I just remember that it was a frickin' long time. The guy basically passed through tweendom into adulthood in the video. katana ]]>
yep. the guy was quite cool, allthough I think it was 8 years, but I'm not sure. perhaps I'll try this as soon as I got my new mobile. Christoph Wagner ]]>
Cool idea. I remember the YouTube video where a guy taped himself for over 6 years, I think. Boy did he change along that time. Never seen the girl before. katana ]]>
